Suitable for lead prohibited fishing areas, these bismuth/tin alloy sinkers are especially recommended for use around or by kids who may not be as careful as grownups handling toxic lead. Walking sinkers are useful for bait presentations. Drop shot sinkers are made with special line clinch swivels that are smooth spinning on both sides of the barrel unlike other designs that bury half of the swivel within the sinker. Lead free weight is approx. 3/4 as much as comparable size lead sinkers.
